Here is a delightful windup dog made by Kamar of Japan. He makes noise, wiggles his foot and head, and opens and closes his mouth and eyes. The original tag reads "Living Dolls" , Kamar, inc. 1963, Made in Japan. He measures 10 inches long and is 6.5 inches tall. This toy is in good working condition although his eyes don't open as much as I believe they should. Probably one of the springs needs to be tightened.
