    | This is an original 1948 or 1949 Oldsmobile Floaty Promotional Mechanical Pencil, which Olds dealers could buy as a giveaway item for prospects and good customers. It features a miniature Olds two-door fastback which drives up and down the pencil barrel when it's turned upside down. It is marked on the barrel SECRETARY PEN CO, UNION N.J. USA and below that it says FUTURAMIC OLDSMOBILE. The condition of this pencil is very good with no plating wear through, and just a few faint scratches on the lower barrel.
