   | This is a German matchholder in the form of a guy with a shovel standing next to a brick bin to hold the matches. It has a ribbed striking surface on the back side. This piece was made by Conta & Boehm and is called Returning from Work. It stands 4.5 inches tall and is marked with the numbers 88 and 3197 and the Arm & Sword Conta and Boehm mark on the underside. This piece is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks.
