Here is a cute little skillet-shaped covered butter dish in the Cape Cod pattern. It was made by Imperial and it measures 4.5 inches wide plus the handle or 6.75 inches wide including the handle. There is a tiny nick on underside of the cover on the inside of the ring that isn't noticeable unless you look for it.
