This is a lavender and white pieced quilt that was made in 1923. The pattern is called Big Dipper (aka Whirling Blades or Yankee Puzzle) and it measures 65 by 80 inches. It is signed with the initials MEN and the date 1923. This quilt is soft and it has a few small worn spots and holes and the edge binding is worn but it is a nice display piece or it could be used to make something with.
