Ferdinand the Bull

Here is Ferdinand the Bull! He was made by Brayton Laguna in 1939 for Walt Disney Enterprises. The character Ferdinand is from the Academy Award winning Disney film about the flower sniffing bull. He is the large size model and he measures 8 inches long by 7 inches high. He is in great condition with no chips or cracks but there is some crazing. This rare piece is not marked but is shown on page 21 of the book Disneyana Collectors Guide to California Pottery by Frick and Hodge.
