Here is a set of 6 old bone handled dinner knives that were made by the J. Russell & Co. Green River Works. This company was the first cutlery manufacturer in this country and it was in business in Greenfield, MA from 1834 to 1873. These knives measure 9.75 inches long and 4 of the 6 of them have cracks in the handles. They are being sold as a set.
