This is a large glass pickle jar like was used in the country store. The color is aqua and it stands 13 inches tall. This pretty jar which was probably made by Westmoreland is embossed with lots of flowers and leaves etc. The top edge is rough like they always were as they were never intended to seal on the top. Instead they set on the counter with a cloth over the top secured with string to sell the customers pickles in bulk. This jar is in very good condition with no chips or cracks but the center of the bottom is higher than the edges so it is round bottomed and somewhat tipsy!
