This is a 6 inch dessert or salad plate with hand painted decorations that was made for the 1906 Los Angeles Shriners meeting. Each year the Syria Temple produced a piece of glass to commemorate the Imperial Shrine Session for that year. Westmoreland Glass Co. produce most of these pieces. Due to the California earthquake of 1906 the session for that year was canceled so these plates were held over and used in 1907. It is a highly collectible piece and in very nice condition with no damage.
