This is the hardcover book The Trailblazers from the Time-Life Books series The Old West. The author is Bil Gilbert and it is the third printing that was published in 1979. This volume is one of a series that chronicles the history of the American West from the early 16th Century to the end of the 19th Century. There is a date written inside the front cover but otherwise the interior is like new. The exterior has some scratches along the spine. Wonderful photos and line drawings with a leatherette cover.
