Here is a wonderful hand painted fishplate signed Rene on a blank made by Flambeau China. It measures 10 inches in diameter and was made ca. 1890s-1914. Similar fish plates by this artist is pictured on pages 126 and 127 in the 3rd Limoges book by Mary Frank Gaston. This plate is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
